Hmm? I agree that atheism is to do with all deities. My point was that it’s a lack of belief in any deity or deities, which is slightly different to a point blank denial of the existence of a deity or deities unless you are defining it extremely strictly. Definitionally the non-proscriptive is typically the one used - at least in an academic sense - and many, maybe even most, atheists will tell you that atheism is not proscriptive in the sense you have to believe a particular thing.
Personally, I do lean very closely to the belief there are no deities (no evidence, Occam’s razor and all that) but I know atheists who don’t - they lack belief in deities but they don’t care enough to think about what they do believe, for example.
As to whether you think I try to hard to sound intelligent, that’s irrelevant, but I get that occasionally from people who don’t know me. I should be more concise but it’s just the way I express myself. It’s not an attempt to sound anything.
