This is abuse. Teach what is right through example. Don’t indoctrinate. If there are questions as to why an action is right or wrong, use logic and reason. If you can only justify an action or belief through belief in a deity, you need to think about why that is. There must be reason in reality as to why an action or belief is right or wrong - demonstrably replicable effect of such an action or belief - and if you are applying such a value to it you should know what that effect is.
